Alex, is this piece about Clausewitz book “On War”? I have a copy. A long time ago I read the section in the book where he talks about accomplishing political goals through war. I think I read that around the time that Bush Jr. was waging war in Iraq. It seemed to fit what Clausewith was saying. Is Putin doing the same? C.

Putin is not thinking like Clausewitz. He does not take into account the people/nation the way C. was doing.
